#5 Get paid to walk.
My husband and I walk our neighbor’s little dog every morning for 30 minutes. Don’t have a dog to walk? That’s ok. Just walk for 10 minutes. Start small.
#4 Eat Pineapple
I’m not a doctor. But ever since I started eating fresh pineapple before meals, I don’t have as much heartburn. One less pill to take.
#3 Try Dishwashing Therapy
I have arthritis pain in my right shoulder. When I hand wash my dishes, it makes me exercise it so it doesn’t get stiff. I save on utilities too!
#2 Be a Grandma
I have 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. I’m a hands-on grandma, preparing snacks & cooking favorite foods when they come over. Our job to show them that getting older is not as scary as TV and movies make it seem.
#1 Celebrate long life
I want to live to be able to take care of my great grandchildren. I’ll be 100!
